Zeev Fisher is a tax lawyer qualified in the UK, Portugal, Ireland, and Israel. He has also completed his qualification as an Enrolled Agent in the U.S. and is currently awaiting his license. A national of the UK, Romania, and Israel, Zeev is married and the proud father of two teenage daughters.
Born in 1980 in southern Israel to immigrant parents from Moldova and Belarus, Zeev grew up as a curious and bookish child in a hardworking family that moved often to build a new life. Though he faced social challenges, he found refuge in chess — winning his town’s adult chess championship and placing ninth nationally in his age group at just 12 years old.
Zeev studied law at Tel Aviv University and trained as a military lawyer, where he worked on landmark cases and became one of the youngest attorneys to appear before the Israeli Supreme Court. He later married a fellow army lawyer, and together they have two daughters.
His professional journey has been eclectic yet purposeful. Within a year of qualification, he became a partner at a small intellectual property (IP) law firm. In 2009, he co-founded a new IP firm — the first in Israel to open a UK office. After relocating to the UK in 2012, he launched a legal tech company in 2015, which he successfully exited in 2019.
In 2020, Zeev co-founded a U.S. intellectual property law firm that has since grown into a top 1% firm for trademark work, employing over 15 attorneys. Two years later, in 2022, he launched a tax firm in Portugal that has become the country’s leading expat law firm, now boasting a team of 13 exceptional lawyers.
