Helping cross-border clients face special financial planning challenges.

The Master Class series in US Inbound/Outbound International Financial Planning is an advanced course for financial planners, wealth managers, private bankers, CPA/accountants, and other advanced financial professionals working with international and cross-border clients in the US and Americans abroad. It is a ten lesson program taught by a faculty of financial planners, accountants, tax, immigration and estate attorneys. ​

Given the exponential complexity that exists when dealing with matters affecting the U.S. and residents of a specific foreign country, this is not a cross-border class where instruction is provided on how the U.S. works with specific foreign countries.

Investments and Wealth Institute Partnering with GFP Institute for ‘Global Financial Planning Essentials’

We are thrilled to announce that GFP Institute and the Investments and Wealth Institute have entered into a strategic partnership to provide cross-border content to members of the Investments and Wealth Institute. As of 2024, a condensed version of the GFP US Inbound/Outbound International Financial Planning Master Class is now being offered by the Investments and Wealth Institute and be known as ‘Global Financial Planning Essentials’.

This newly offered program covers the fundamental principles and strategies of international financial planning. It aims to equip financial professionals with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of cross-border financial planning.

The partnership between GFP Institute and Investments and Wealth Institute will ensure that members of the Investments and Wealth Institute have access to high-quality, comprehensive education in the field of international financial planning. We believe that this collaboration will greatly benefit financial professionals seeking to expand their expertise in the global financial landscape.

Dates and Format

Class start date: November 2nd, 2023

Format: 10 weekly lessons with 1 Live Q&A Session with a subject matter expert at 1:00 PM PST / 4 PM EST each Thursday.

Course Fees

The regular price of the course is $3,295, which includes the first year of GFP Institute Full membership (valued at $445).

Refund Policy
  • 100% refund immediately prior to commencement of second week.
  • 50% refund from commencement of 2nd class to prior to the start of 4th class.
  • 0% refund from commencement of 4th class.
Does the Master Class count for CE CFP Credits?

Yes. 28 CE Credits.
