About

Brett founded Impact Financial after spending nearly a decade working at some of the largest Registered Investment Advisory firms in the US. Brett held a variety of investment, tax, financial planning and business consulting roles, which contributes to his comprehensive approach that he maintains today. During this time, Brett saw that there was a need for services tailored to each individual/family. Instead of model portfolios or templated plans driving recommendations, Brett founded Impact Financial to give clients tailored advice considering complexities such as international/cross boarder planning, tax services, business owner services and an ability to advise on private, unique investments. Brett earned an undergraduate and master’s degree in personal financial planning from University of Illinois and Texas Tech University, respectively. After graduation, Brett earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) designation, Global Financial Planner (GFP) designation and his Certified Exit Planning Advisor designation (CEPA). Brett is also the Chicago chapter president of the Exit Planning Institute which is an organization that educates and connects advisors on business succession planning. Personally, Brett and his wife love to catch a great concert, be outdoors and travel. Brett has also been trying to learn to sail to take advantage of the coast in New England.
