"The most rewarding part of my job is helping my clients retire well, with confidence and security about their future." My straight-forward, results-oriented approach appeals to the busy corporate professional. I serve as the Practice Area Leader of Brightworth’s Professionals and Executives specialty. In addition to working with clients, I oversee the firm’s development strategy to serve more corporate professionals with excellence and expertise specific to their complex tax and financial needs, which has been my niche for the past 20+ years. During my tenure at Brightworth, I've received national recognition in Financial Advisor Magazine as a “Top Young Advisor to Watch”. As the author of “Girl Talk, Money Talk. The Smart Girl's Guide to Money After College” and "Girl Talk, Money Talk II. Financially Fit and Fabulous in Your 40s and 50s" and co-author of "Building Your Wealth Inside Corporate America. Financial Strategies for Today's Executive", I believe strongly that everyone needs a financial education, especially women. A regular columnist on, my articles and quotes on wealth management topics have also been featured in many local and national media outlets including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Listen to my podcast, Taking Stock with Lisa Brown: I received a Masters in Business Administration with a personal financial planning concentration from Georgia State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics. Community service is important to me, with a focus on serving families with children who are experiencing homelessness. I currently serve on the Board and am former Treasurer of Family Promise of Forsyth County, am the former Treasurer for Our House in Atlanta (formerly Genesis Shelter), serve on the Planned Giving Committee for the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House, am the former President of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, and am a member of the Philanthropic Advisors Leadership Institute. Married for 18 years, 3 children including a set of twins, a Corgi named Waffles, love to run (half and full marathons), road cycle and play golf.
