About this webinar

When family members live, work, and build their lives across different countries, maintaining alignment becomes increasingly complex. Differences in geography, culture, communication styles, and individual priorities can make family conversations and decisions challenging, particularly when wealth and responsibilities span multiple generations and jurisdictions.

In this session, Michelle will share practical approaches advisors can use to help globally dispersed, multi-generational families strengthen communication, navigate differing perspectives, clarify responsibilities, and make thoughtful decisions together.

Topics will Include:

  • Creating effective structures and objectives for family meetings across countries and time zones.
  • Identifying shared family values while respecting individual perspectives and cultural differences.
  • Clarifying family roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.
  • Preparing rising generations to participate in family decisions and the stewardship of shared wealth.
  • Understanding the advisor’s role in facilitating productive family conversations and coordinating across borders.

Attendees will leave with practical ideas for helping international families build stronger governance practices, reduce misunderstandings, and remain connected to the purpose and stewardship of family wealth.
